Synopsis

Mohamed is a ten-year old Algerian boy born in Qatar who hopes to become a champion swimmer. He owes this dream to his late mother, who encouraged him until he was accepted into the Aspire Academy. Last year Mohamed won a bronze medal in a competition with the National Team but this year he is going after gold. ‘Big Dream’ follows his hopes and aspirations.

About the Directors

Nadia Tebib has been a Senior Acquisition Producer at Al Jazeera Arabic since 1998. Her primary role is filtering, and evaluating high-value documentary content under budgetary parameters for Al Jazeera Arabic Channel. She evaluates, researches and manages documentaries coming from worldwide companies according to the network’s Code of Ethics and editorial needs. She also attends international markets for viewing and acquiring programs for the channel, as well as assisting in the development of new network strategies.
