Ajyal’s Made in Qatar series continues with a two
programmes of films made by filmmakers from
Qatar, and those who call Qatar home.
Along with independent Qatari productions,
this year’s programme includes several short films
made as part of two of the Doha Film Institute’s
filmmaking initiatives.
Programme 1 includes several short films made
as part of a collaboration between the Doha Film
Institute and Seha, the National Health Insurance
Scheme for the State of Qatar. The directors have
made short films about Qatar’s tradition of care, and
we are proud to include a selection of them in the
Made in Qatar competition.
