Synopsis
Special Screening - Focus on Anime
Mikako and Noboru have only had eyes for each other since middle school, but when she’s recruited by the UN to be a member of its Space Army, they become star-crossed lovers separated by space and time. As she travels further into outer space, Mikako’s messages take years to reach her beloved. Will he forget her? This astonishing film succeeds in the almost impossible task of turning futuristic technology, spaceships and email into a most lyrical setting for a beautiful, desperate love story.
