Synopsis

About the Directors

Born in London and educated at Oxford, Lucy Walker is best known for her groundbreaking documentaries ‘The Devil’s Playground’ (2002), about Amish teenagers; ‘Blindsight’ (2006), about blind mountaineers; ‘Waste Land’ (2010), about the ‘transformative power of art’, which won the Audience Award at Sundance in 2010 and was nominated for an Oscar; and ‘Countdown to Zero’, about how the nuclear arms race is far from over.
