Ice Cream (Berfeşir / Dondurma)
Special Screening
Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Rojhat is incorrigible at the best of times, but when the ice cream man makes a rare visit to his remote Turkish village, his naughtiness goes into overdrive. While his scolding mother tries to wash everything in sight – Rojhat included – he scampers about, desperate to find something that he can trade in for a cone of icy goodness. ‘Ice Cream’ is a charming, comic testament to the determination of youth.
