Don't Leave Me (La Tkhaleeny)
Hilal - ages 13+
Synopsis
Layla is diabetic and is gradually losing her sight. Aisha suffers from a different condition: she is losing her memory. She refuses to take her medication, however; instead, she keeps mementos and reminders locked away in a little box under her bed. These two girls have met once before, at school. Now, years later, they meet again, but are unable to recognise one another. A mournful short film about connection and coincidences.
