Synopsis

A group of migrants from sub-Saharan Africa arrives to the north of Morocco in order to cross the Mediterranean Sea, looking for a secret island called Eldorado, where they heard a fair and equal world has been created. On the day of their crossing, a planning mistake is made by the smuggler, and another group of “regular” Moroccan migrants who were supposed to ship to Spain find themselves on board too for Eldorado.
Once they cross the sea, Eldorado’s police arrest them and take them into a “welcome centre”, where Franck, the centre’s director, introduces them to the rules of this new society. They need to stay there until the board decides if they will be granted Eldorado’s citizenship. Until then, they must work in the ‘Eldorado’ tomato sauce processing factory implanted in the centre. While the group of Sub-Saharan Africans tries to blend in and follow the rules, the Moroccans set up a plan to escape.
