More About Our Guest Dawood Al-Anwari
Dawood Al-Anwari is a 2013 graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University School of the Arts in Qatar, where he earned a degree in Graphic Design. His journey in film began in 2010 as an assistant art director, contributing to numerous short films. He went on to work as a lead designer and actor in the TV series 'Medina' (2015-2017), where he developed props and logos that became pivotal to the show’s visual identity. Dawood has since returned to art direction, working on various short films and music videos. Currently, he oversees design at Doha Film Institute, bringing his creative vision to a variety of projects within Qatari cinema.
