Awards Show After Party
As the night, and the Festival, draws to a close a glamorous farewell party awaits VIP guests in the Festival Lounge. A last chance to enjoy the special friendly atmosphere of DTFF. Until next year.
Yosra – Jury President Interview
DTFF’s Lama Matta talks to iconic Egyptian actress Yosra about her experience as the Festival’s first ever Jury President, this year’s competition winners, ‘Hawi’ by Ibrahim El Batout (Best Arab Film) and ‘Balls’ by Josef Fares (Best Arab Filmmaker) and what she loves so much about our Lifetime Achievement Award honouree, the legendary Adel Imam.

Awards Show Kicks Off at KOAT
With the Ceremony underway in the Opera House, the crowds in the Katara Open Air Theatre sat back to watch the Awards being announced under the stars. Among them, Best Documentary and Best Narrative Film.
The Public Flock to Closing Night
DTFF is a Festival for all. As the celebrities’ limos arrived on the red carpet, huge crowds streamed towards the Katara Open Air Theatre for a live simulcast of the Awards Ceremony and much-anticipated closing film The First Grader.
Pitching Workshop
At the DTFF ‘Pitching Workshop’ new and accomplished filmmakers learned how to make their best pitch in front of an established group of experienced pitchers. 24 hours later a select few are back to present their enhanced pitches to an audience and a panel of industry professionals.
Doha Tribeca Filmmakers Programme Event
After 7 months of hard work, including a grueling 6 week shooting schedule in the middle of one of Doha’s hottest summers, the 8 directors in the Doha Tribeca Filmmaker Programme were finally ready to screen their finished films.
